Jim Alan Calvert
Lead Pastor
Pastor Jim Alan began serving at Parkview in November 2024. He has served in churches in Mississippi since 2020. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Blue Mountain Christian University in 2023. He is currently pursuing an Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Jim Alan has a desire to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ faithfully and truthfully in accordance with the Word of God to reach the lost and strengthen disciples in the faith. His goal is to shepherd the flock at Parkview Baptist with love, patience, and humility. His prayer and hope is that all members of the congregation are not just diciples of Christ but that we will all be disciple-makers.
Michael Reed
Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Worship and ELC Director
Michael Reed began serving at Parkview in 2006. Since that time, he has served as Children’s Minister, Youth Minister, Youth & College Pastor, and now serves as our Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Worship.
Michael received a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition from Ouachita Baptist University, and a Master of Divinity and Ph.D. in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Michael has a passion for discipling and equipping believers so that we all may “become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” (Eph. 4:13) Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Melody, and two children, Samuel and Josephine.
Jamie Leaman
Pianist
Jamie Leaman is our longest tenured staff member, having served as pianist at Parkview since 1998. She studied piano and music from ages 6-17 and pursued piano and music theory studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She has been married to her husband Bob for over 50 years. When she is not playing piano, she enjoys spending time with her children Bobby and Dayna, her grandchildren Erin and Kacy, and her cat O’Malley.
Kaitlyn Wilson
Youth Intern
Katie is from Picayune, Mississippi and is currently a student at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She is studying for an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Katie joined Parkview in October of 2024 and is passionate about helping young people discover their identity in Christ and grow in their faith.
